I'm not disputing the value of college either from the perspective of specific career preparation, broad knowledge, or social preparation. Trademen usually work for someone else first before starting their own business. Before starting their own business, some will take an interest in those aspects of their business, such as marketing, accounting, etc. Most will end up hiring staff to handle those items on a periodic, contingent basis such as marketing, bookkeeping, taxes, payroll, etc., or on a continual basis such as answering services, receptionists, accountants, etc. |
