This advise to anyone holding this stock in their RRSP. GO DOWN to your broker and do a property swap for your BXM/BSR. They will value it on the last trade of $15.40 (or whatever it was ) Insert any qualifying property of equal value and get the sucker into your own hands.

You preserve your RRSP balance, remember, you can't just park new assets in without suitable headroom.

You get the loss into your hands whereby the tax system will at least absorb some of it.

I told a friend this idea at 4:30 and in 15 minutes the brokers had done it. IMO they will balk if you postpone this for too long.

Please contact your tax advisor or discuss it with a broker who understands this before you act. ( obvious disclaimer people)
