Phil's reply #85 put it succinctly, Michael! This one, along with scores of other juniors, has been heading south since the turn of the year (Dec-Jan) - due to lack of buyers, mostly. However, on news of their acquisition of some property (see Canada-Stockwatch), suddenly, this woke up a few traders, and because of the extremely thin trading volumes in these juniors - the buyers had to up the ante to buy a significant number of shares. Currently, there are 3,000 shares bidding 0.10, and there are 5,000 for sale at .14! In dollar terms, though, the offering value is a paltry $700 - not much in absolute dollar-volume, is it??!! Until some insiders or mutual funds come up with tens of thousands or so dollars to invest, however, this one will continue to kind of clunk along, like so many other "pennies".
Interestingly, this recent trading spike has popped the stock price above the top downward trend line on canada-stockwatch. Maybe not significant as far as charting goes - but it has raised a few eyebrows. The bid is up from .08 only days before. And with the metals turning around - and mutuals slowly beginning to chase some of the better quality juniors (like T.BWR - check it out!), I'd say NOT is as good a parking spot for a few idle hundred dollars or so as any!! .... and these folks have been around a long time - they're likely to be around a long time longer (!) ....
