OT- Don't remind me - I'm living in the US now and have a family. This s%^% is getting way too frequent. But before we nominate Canada for sainthood, let me remind you that Canada has had its own nightmares. Remember the kid in Calgary not long after the US school shooting? And certainly let's not forget about the women in Montreal. Of course our murder rates are infetisimal(sp?) compared to the gun happy USofA. I lived in New Orleans for 6 months. Wonderful place but I had to get the hell out as I could not tolerate the evening news (or the weather for that matter). Their murder rate has exceeded 1 per day although I think its down now. But remember James, guns don't kill people, people kill people. Cold comfort for the dead. Personally, I say guns do kill as it makes it too easy for any coward that wants to take his own life to take a few more with him. But what the hell do I know - I'm only Canadian <VBG>.
