Customize Windows 95's Start-Up Sound

You can replace the ta-da sound the plays when you start Windows 95
with any MIDI file you like. Open your system's Control Panel,
double-click on Sounds, then select the Start Windows event. Select
None from the list of sounds that appears under Name. Now create a
shortcut to the sound file you want in the Start Up folder under
C:\windows. The next time you start Windows, it'll be playing
your song.
