Is it possible that the bre-x lads have learned a thing or two from the unsavory like of Munk and Bob"Fore" Hasan. Could Walsh and Felderhof seen this coming having first catching wind of it last week?
Did they know that Freeport was going to use different assay testing which could create doubt. Did they fear that whatever they said it mattered little to the market because the market had basically tuned them out?As the stock price slowly eroded larger brokers were buying the shares while the little guys bailed. So what does bre-x do? Do they place aonther disclaimer like they always do stating that they are right and everyone else is wrong. No Walsh, for once go on the offensive. He states there may be a problem. This leads to chaos and
the stock markets yank the crappy bre-x off the shelf.
No more bargains for the vultures, no more short plays for the lads on
Bay St. Now Walsh waits for the independent reviews to trickle in. What would happen if this wasn't the most elaborate scam known to mankind? What if the reports show why there was a discrepency and that
there is gold in them there hills. Do you think the little stock that could would rebound rather nicely?

Maybe I watched too many X-files but this has the feel of a set-up. But for once I feel bre-x is setter and not the setee. I have been on SI since the first week of December 1996. Ihave owned bre-x since June 1996. I have heard the death marth at least 3 times. Still no death. This may be different this time but I have my doubts.
