Wait Joe,

I have some repair costs, too, the car's exhaust pipe and a hot water heater that going bad. I was hoping to get in on the 3 month deal. (Darn Matt.) Of course, I would have thought the Xmas/New Year's Novell meal's indigestion would still be with you Joe <g>. You've got to get more rest. First, no commas, then offers like this.
(Darn, darn Matt <g>.)

On to the Novell rebuttal of NT and Novell Workstation Manager article. Yes, it's better than nothing. And I have to admire the guy for taking the time and effort to get it posted on Novell's web site.

But, making it to the mainstream press or even most PC on-line mags, uh-uhn. I'm sorry, it's dry and boring and no one besides a technofreak is going to care. It was written by an engineer for an engineer's audience. He did two 'lively' lines - "Not so" and "Microsoft Active Directory (MAD?)".

Maybe, it will be inspiration to the marketing or PR flacks to say to themselves, "If I can't do better than that, I'll shoot myself." From that standpoint, the article will be well worth the posting, because either way we win.

Mat <all of the above lines should be assumed to have IMO or IMHO after them>

P.S. Joe, the "Microsoft ... is crazy" quote was not from Novell directly, but from Neil MacDonald, an analyst with the Gartner Group.
Now, if it starts a trend of quoting other people's favorable responses about Novell, that would be good too.

Mat < Novell, you have my permission to quote from my postings>

PPS Joe, are you sure you won't reconsider the repair deal?
(Damn, Matt.)
