I use Net2Phone all the time (will probably look for entry point on modest amount next week). It's really quite good for the price, but you suffer a bit on clarity/quality, so for instance, it might be annoying if you were making business calls. In NYC I pay 5 cents a minute for all domestic calls, and 10 cents a minute to, for instance, Australia or England. While travelling, I use an 800 # and then it's 10 cents a minute, still not bad, same rate as phone cards, but I can ask them to send me a printout of phone calls I made for bizness purposes (they don't do it automaticaly, but if you call up they will). Using their voicemail system, I can renew in prepaid lots of $25 or $50, and it renews within a few hours.
