I guess she's classified as "country". Several people on a Kinks e-mail list had lots of positive things to say about her album "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" last year and I bought it. It was a big seller and a very good album. She really has a distinctive voice, which is really good. I put it on earlier after listening to the new Gram Parsons tribute album "Return of the Grievous Angel" for the first time. She sings the title track with David Crosby.
