Softlink, Inc. Unveils eMail inChorus and eMail VOICELink at MACWORLD Expo ‘99:
While the Macintosh is celebrating a renaissance -- embodied in the iMac and now the new iBook, Softlink is celebrating the release of Macintosh versions of its two multimedia e-mail products eMail inChorus and eMail VOICELink.
There are a number of important synergies between Softlink's software and the Macintosh platform. First, and most fundamentally, Apple has positioned its new product lines as dedicated Internet communications tools. As state-of-the-art Internet software applications, inChorus and VOICELink enable Mac users to more fully realize their systems' potential. Second, Macs in many cases have been the platform of preference within the design and multimedia communities. The cool multimedia functionality of Softlink's products appeals to the creativity of these users.
At MACWORLD Expo, attended by 30,000 Macintosh enthusiasts, Softlink demonstrated the capabilities of inChorus and VOICELink to consumers, business users and the media. Softlink held a press conference to announce the new products. The presentation by William Yuan was well received among the Macintosh press community. Several publications requested review copies of the product – look for printed reviews in the next few months. The products were available for purchase within the Softlink booth, and the conversion rate was high throughout the event.

Status of audit:
We are in the process of completing the final report on Softlink's first audit. The audit, which began mid-May has been finalized, though taking longer than was expected for its completion. This was due to the lengthy period of time that the audit covered and the compilation of a large volume of records including previous years. You will see the final report in the near future.
