Robert,
I know what you mean. But I think that Hecla and these other big boys that have already been burned learned their lessons early and the hard way. They didn't stick to what and where they know best and went for the latest trend. Even some of these larger co.'s aren't as solid as before, but if they learned from their mistakes there may be some reward down the line. Hecla has disappointed a lot of people but I know that they have some good silver properties on line in Idaho and possible Mexico...we'll see. At first I thought that Freeport was bluffing to get the Indo government to stop stalling and show them what a pull-out would do, but that theory was way off. This will be interesting. A standardized lab/testing system might be a good thing for these little companies to look into. At least then the results would have some merit to them.
John
