linda, another question is how the new accounting practices that are to be implemented for all publically traded japanese companies will affect the nikkei...for instance, nissan has almost 5B in pension liabilty they are hiding(or trying to)....soon, they will be required to follow strict guidelines ala the US markets...sony and honda already abide by these accounting methods so it wont affect them(but at least 1/2 of the companies do not)...my hope is when their mkt. takes a hit when all the negative press is disclosed, the flow of money will go into softbank and not into the savings account...but we'll se. mact
