Hello N-Squiggle,

I too had a buy-in notice (not on UAI) on a stock that I was short but was under a trading halt (or delisting action, I forget which). Similar to your case, I discussed it with my broker who told me that it would only be bought in (if in fact it ended up being bought in) once trading resumed. For the life of me I can't remember what the stock was, but I do recall that the buyin never happened. An interesting case, eh? ;-)
