>> PPS Joe, are you sure you won't reconsider the repair deal? <<
Only if they bite on the PR deal where I get a retainer and a contract to do their PR for them. Oh, yeah, they have to pay ME for working the crowd, and doing the networking (pun intended) with the media. I STILL don't understand why they can't do this stuff? And you know what, these reporters tell me the same thing. I dunno, maybe it's me or something. I don't see this as "all that difficult to comprehend".
I dunno. It's like they're afraid, or embarrased or something? It's like they think these media people are gonna bite their heads off or something. I dunno, anyone I spoke to was very nice, polite, listened, let me speak, didn't intimidate, etc. There was only one guy I didn't quite like, and that was the guy from Wired Magazine. He came off like a sharpshooter, cocky type. But, all of the trade rag people were super. And so were the non trade rag people, the Associated Press, Barrons, Some other Newspaper in Utah, I forget the name right now. They were all great too.
So what are they afraid of? Novell, that is.
Craig Dean put up two nice posts from the Salt Lake Tribune. They were good. But, I believe in one of them, the reporter said something similar to what I just said, if I'm not mistaken. That is, she said "Well, it sure seems ther're more outgoing and open this year than last, etc..
Well, why can't they just have someone do that with the Major Trade Rags too?
Is it me? Am I seeing this differently than most people. (I'm serious). What is so "hard" about this stuff?
