NABIs plasma sales basicly cover their overhead and contribute only a small part to the profits. Plasma is fairly low margin. They really make most of their profit from H-BIG(R) and WinRho SD(R). These two products are the key to current profits. Both look strong. They have some major efforts in progress which should reduce their expenses with regard to their products. Primarily associated with vertical integration of their processes. New plant, working with less expensive blood fractionator and also building their own, etc.

I initially bought my shares based on the HIV product that was dropped today (1992). But I have not seen this product as critical to NABIs success for at least a year now. In some ways it would have hurt NABI if this product had been approved now because it would have put a strain on their current resources and possibly taken away from some of their potentially more profitable products.
