Is it because Dorian is the only person with a dubious past. He's not just ONE of the directors, he's the chairman of the board. He is the company's founder and I think he is also the largest single shareholder. He is probably the single most powerful person in the company. Bradford never says anything - public statements come from Reed. He even "developed the technology" for the site, if PR is to be believed. One could argue that Dorian Reed is hitsgalore. If the boss has a "dubious past," as you so aptly put it, then it doesn't really matter if others in management or on the board are clean.
