If both DT and Bell South want Qwest things really get interesting.
In that BS can't bid based on current rules, if they're serious, a merger of equals with Qwest being the retained corporate identity may be the only way to avoid a hostile takeover.

I think BS will figure a way to get the job done, and shareholders should see new all time high prices for the stock.
