Meisterama, I am providing some information about an on-line

brokerage that I use. I have used Ameritrade for over a year and have found their services to be most satisfactory.

Ameritrade requires an initial deposit of $2,000. The cost of making an on-line market order trade is $8. Ameritrade will confirm that the trade was completed by E-Mail if you provide it your E-Mail address. There is an additional $5 charge for limit orders. I frequently place limit orders to buy or sell 100, 200, or 300 shares and the cost is only $13 for buying or selling.

It costs $18 to place an order with a broker over the telephone and I believe it costs an additional $5 to place a limit order. Orders to buy or sell OTC stocks like ABMI have to be placed over the telephone.

Security of information appears to be very good. Research material is available at no additional cost. Ameritrade sends written confirmation of trades by mail and also sends a quarterly activity report.

About 98% of my trades involve NYSE, NASDAQ, or AMEX stocks. I now stay away from OTC stocks.

You can obtain additional information at Ameritrade's Web Page: www.Ameritrade.com

Hope this helps. If you have additional questions, I will attempt to answer them.
