They have been far more reliable forever than gold has been. Gold is ok for jewelery but so is brass. At least silver used to be important for photography.>> Money can be printed with-out value, property can go down in value if one lives in an inflated area. of brass for jewelry, OK if you want green. still nothing better than gold for some electronic contact applications.
