that's not a valid comparison. everyone drives, and our society would cease to function without the car. is this true with guns? why are we so fearful and insecure that we need to arm ourselves? is someone coming to kill us? i'm not saying that guns should be oulawed, but that we need tighter controls on their sales. how could anyone argue against that?
