O/T--Driving back from breakfast this am, I turned into a major intersection on the green and immediately collided with a car driven by an 87 year old man who was weaving between lanes and had become disoriented and ran the red. Probably $10,000 damage to my car alone. My first accident in over 30years.... Moral of the story, always look even when you have the green. I glanced, but obviously didn't see him. Managed to get 3 witnesses to back me up. Moral 2--get those witnesses rounded up as the elderly man was later charged with running a red and the police want to revoke his license due to age. He wants to keep his license and without those witnesses I might have been in a fix as it would have been my word against his. Question of the day-should I feel lucky or not? I sure don't feel lucky.
