DAYTRADING EXPO 1999
Apparently, this is the first-ever national/international gathering of the daytrading community, and is scheduled for September 25-26 near Los Angeles. The link is as follows: daytradingexpo.com
The more detailed conference schedule is at: daytradingexpo.com
This looks like it may be an interesting conference. There will be many well known speakers, including two people I respect after recently having met them: Lawrence Black (NetTrade) and Oliver Velez (Pristine). Other well known speakers include Robert and Don Bright (Bright Trading), Van K. Tharp (Trading Psychology), Robin Dayne (Perhaps infamous is a better description, based on detailed negative information about her on the MB Trading thread) and Harvey Houtkin (AllTech/Attain) to name a few.
It looks like the Tutorial topics include a wide range of areas, including trading strategies, execution systems, psychology, etc.
I have been putting off the decision, but will probably attend. Has anyone else decided to attend this conference? Obviously, there will be numerous daytrading firm in attendance trying to position their wares, but I expect it will be an interesting and educational weekend.
Thoughts, anyone?
