From the Bull Market Report:

$$$$$ YAHOO TO OFFER ONLINE BANKING

YAHOO INC (YHOO - $137, down 6) said that customers could get access to
TELEBANC FINANCIAL CORP (TBFC) account information. Users of Yahoo!
Finance and My Yahoo! will have the opportunity to open a new Telebank
account.

COMMENT: This has several ramifications. First of all, this is just
another piece of the puzzle for Yahoo (the puzzle they are trying to put together includes every part of the known universe that affects your daily life). Secondly, they did it through Telebank, soon to be a subsidiary of E-Trade (EGRP). This is another indicator that E-Trade may have made a very shrewd maneuver after all.

[Note: this is a significant admission, as Todd Shaver--the editor of The Bull Market Report--initially recommended EGRP investors to sell their shares after the Telebank investment...

In related news, E-Trade Group has become a partner in the Silicon
Valley incubator fund, S Cubed Ventures, enabling them to invest in seed-level companies. In our opinion, a little bit of capital can go a LONG way with these ventures.
