Maybe part of it, is just the direction it faces. At the sea line. For the sunrise, the moonrise. You can't even SEE a moonrise over the ocean out here.

(I only said part. :o)

Saw a moonrise, over the ocean, at Kailua. Wow. I thought.

"This is like Tahiti."

The reason, was that the moon was to the East. Not setting; rising.

Full.

Wow.

You know, excluding harbors, geology, culture, and anything else. I hear the water is warmer on the Atlantic.
