How do you determine which parts contain human interference and which parts don't? God,(IMO) as described in the Bible, appears to have many attributes that (again IMO) are less than Godly. HE comes off as arrogant, cruel, capricious, racist, sexist, and extraordinarily violent(in addition to many positive qualities). Especially in the OT.
I do not believe in original sin and in the need to be redeemed. Especially not the need for redemption through blood or sacrifice. That said, I would never tell anyone that is travelling a Judeo-Christian path, that it is the wrong path for them. I am in no position to determine the right path for anyone but myself.
I believe that we need not have an intermediary to have a relationship with God. I believe our souls are an aspect of divinity, and as such, we do not need to do anything but find our personal pathway to God.
