although ASND has a nice run, most of the networkers are still very much in the bargain basement, i think the idea of paying CSCC close to its all time high, even if it is a stk swap deal, is difficult. BTW, has anyone heard anything more about the 4 or 5 lawsuits filed against the COMS/USRX deal? the only ones capable of takeover, imho, are the likes of LU and IBM. Or, look at it from another perspective. For the last 12 mos, CSCO bought many cos, but only Stratacom was paid $4B, but the total number is $5.2B. regards Bosco p.s. of course, i wouldn't mind if someone comes in and offer X3 of the closing price as of yesterday.
