Rocky,

Please confirm the power output is 2W/m^2.

I reached way back to my high-school days and came up with the following numbers (if my logic is flawed, please correct me):

P=IV therefore P increases as V increases. According to GLE news release 22 Jul 99, their system of 20 cells of 10cm X 10cm produced 800W. If cells are in series, that's 40W per 10X10cm cell. This translates to 40W per 0.01m^2 or 4000W/m^2.

I decided to forward this to you guys because my limited schooling is getting me no where. What is wrong with my calculations ? Or has GLE just broke the code on SOFC !

Dingo
