He's got a point about "scordatelo" not being used between strangers. I tried a number of variations at the local grocery store: "Hey Bebbee, wanna scordatelo?" "Show me your&#151scordatelo." "Let's scordatelo and forget about it in the morning." I've never had so many rutabagas flung at me in all my life. Obviously, you're not in Italy. Maybe I'll have better luck in Trieste.
