Gary - Re: "They tended to plan their vacation a year in advance, be gone for 4 or 5 weeks, and spend the next few weeks at work talking about the vacation they just took and planning the next one" I'm fairly certain that every employee at AMD's Dresden fab will forego all vacations and time-off, including coffee breaks, for the next 10 years just to see AMD become a success story.
