The parts of the Bible I feel have human interference are the portions that deal with the dietary restrictions of the time. From what I have read,God decreed that certain foods were not to be eaten but the list was quite limited. What I believe to be additions are those that constitute keeping Kosher and have become outdated through progress in food storage and preparation. I can't say that I am positive about this but would hate to go to hell for eating shrimp.
As far as God's attributes, since race is never mentioned in the Bible, I don't believe He can be considered racist. Most of the violence seems to occur in the books of Genesis and Exodus and, I believe it was used as a cleansing of evil cultures for the benefit of His chosen people. He also punished His chosen people when they reverted to paganism. I can not consider him arrogant or capricious but, modern day liberals (no offense meant) are incensed with the Bible's description of the duties of women. I can't say I really disagree with most of those duties.
Whether anyone believes in original sin,or not, it is a moot point as this sin was cancelled by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. I don't know the reason for blood sacrifice in the OT but, remember, the Hebrews sacrificed only animals while most of the groups they fought against were sacrificing humans. Mainly women and children.
I don't know if I am following the Judeo-Christian path or not. I believe in the diety of God and I believe in Jesus as my saviour. Some of the Faith-based people are now saying they have a personal relationship with Jesus. No preacher,rabbi,or priest has any better access to God and Jesus than you and I do and, I resent their exalted opinions of themselves. They were not ordained by God but by other humans. One human cannot forgive the sins of another human in the name of God. Humans can forgive sins directed at him but, that kind of forgiveness is something we need more of.
