>> Joe That's the reason why you should be taking insurance. If You both get blackjack you still win your insurance bet at 2 to 1. Stick with your novell postings, you are the best at that and I'll stick with my blackchips in A.C. <<
Barry: OK, thanks for the advice. BTW, do you know what the odds are of what you are describing coming out? <grin>, and the percentage of YOU being on the _winning_ end of that deal <smile>? That is, in simpler terms -- how many times the dealer will be raking in your insurance over how many times what you describe will actually, really, honest-to-goodness happen? Only when you card-count my friend, only when you card-count. And the only place I know where you can still get away with that (at least for awhile) is Vegas. I know what you're saying Barry, but I'd rather lose the WHOLE bet less times than get paid 2 to 1 on half my bet taken as insurance when I know the house will be taking my insurance money more times that I will achieve the former. Comprende' Amigo ??
Oh well, OK, Whatever turns you on babe! (Do you play poker too? <g>).
I'm not going to waste any more bandwith on this "fascinating" subject which is depriving people of this exciting stock called NOVL..
So:
Barry, I agree. You're right. I stand corrected. You stick with that tact in AC, and don't "ever" backbet or play the field in craps either <s>. And, like you say I'll concentrate on NOVL the stuff I'm good at and leave the gambling to the pros.
Good luck to ya'.
