So how would you feel if you got the opposite letter...

Gee, we're sorry, you have great genes and we would only have to charge you $x for insurance but because we can't take that into consideration we have to charge you 3 x $x to make up for people who we KNOW are far more risky, tough luck.

Of course since you now know that you might just opt out and make the insurance pool even that much worse for those poor risks that stay.

People are not created equal. Not everyone gets to get an A or B in school, not everyone gets to be the top scorer on the team, and not everyone get to pay the same for insurance.
