Dave. I just sent a post on this subject if you care to read it.

I did not believe my ears that Ron Insana would report this so shortly before the market close. What really got to me was the fact that he said this rumor made the rounds around lunch time. I don't know if it was mentioned by CNBC at that time or not but let's hope it WAS. Otherwise it would be double as bad. Like I said in my prev. post. They could have checked that rumor in a NY minute with having this Barron guy on quite frequently. I can't recall his name right now. CNBC is mentioning lots of rumors about companies merging, positive or negative earnings surprises etc. but bringing out a negative unchecked rumor out about a top tier internet company so late in the day, when the sector is already laboring, is unbelievable. Most of my internet stocks took a big plunge after that even those that were on the plus side.
