Don't the oceans just keep getting saltier and saltier? Except for where it precipitates out, salt flats all over the world where the ocean used to be. The mummies I was reading about are preserved in salt flats in Urumchi, a valley in the Himalayas, north of India, east of Pakistan, west of China, near the Russian border. Not Russia anymore, Carjackistan or something.
