Just for the record:

1) Urumchi is the capital of Xinchiang province; it is WAY north of the Himalayas (not even close);

2) It is part of China - as has been for centuries - and not "west of China" despite its exotic name;

3) U is part of the ancient SILK ROAD, still a good distance from the Russian border.
