I expect that Timna will be succesful at 0.13u technology in about 1.5-2 years. But whether Timna makes it or not I still expect the typical PC to come down to 3D integrated either into the North Bridge or NB+3D integrated into the CPU. In either case drdram is a good solution since the 3D will need lots of bandwidth and the low pin count allows several rambus channels.
