My broker called his firms trading desk and they do not know of anything that would explain the drop. They are a market maker so I am sure they would know if something negative was out there. If the theory expressed yesterday about how some market makers were shorting the stock is true, could the same market maker pull the stock down to prevent themselves from being squeezed to badly since they know the stock is trending higher?
