Talk about firing with both barrels! Mike, I'm not one to fight other people's battles, but I think you are a bit over the top in your reply to Connie. There are three(at least) points that you should remember. First of all Connie was an EMPLOYEE. She said what she was told to say whether she liked it or not. Sure she could have gone against the wishes of her employers, and gotten fired for it, but they would just find someone else to do their bidding and we would in exactly the same place. A management that does not want to communicate with shareholders could have Mother Theresa as an IR person, and she would still be despised by shareholders. Secondly, I would not judge Connie's performance based on the writings in this thread. People write all sorts of things when they are not happy and are looking for a scapegoat. With all due respect to the people who post here, I treat everything I read on SI as suspect at best and pure BS at worst, and I only hope that people treat my posts with the same caution. Finally, Connie is under no obligation, moral or otherwise, to talk about BSW if she does not want to. In fact as part of her severance with BSW she may have agreed not to discuss details of BSW with anyone. The bottom line is that we are all adults here, and it is our responsibility to do DD, and if we lose money, we have only ourselves to blame. I've got my abspestos underware on so FLAME AWAY |
