Gates to Donate His Fortune to Charity Sunday, Aug. 01 - 03:12 PM EDT

According to a report from Reuters, Bill Gates, co-founder and CEO of Microsoft, plans to donate his $100 billion fortune to charity. The payments will be spread out over the lives of Gates and his wife, leaving $10 million each for their two children. He wants the money to help fight diseases such as AIDS and malaria that are plaguing the world. Nobody has ever donated this much money to charity, which is going to make it tough for Gates' generosity critics. This makes the William H. Gates Foundation the biggest charity in the world.
