Kendal: You've been coming up with some great informational posts. This one is a classic example of the camel poking his nose into the tent. First the nose, then the neck, down to the pupik and finally the camel is thrashing about, driving the inhabitants out hither and yon (hither and yon?...forgive me for that trite phrase, my 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Kelly, a real terror, used it a lot and it just popped up...after a lotta years of suppression). The honorable Hollings will start with the 5% dough going to the teachers...an admirable lot, and then on to firemen, policemen, underpaid and overworked nurses and nurses-aides and eventually to politicians for their war chests and finally to Jehovah's Witnesses traveling in pairs. (Don't no Witnesses post nasty to me please, I always welcome them to my home and have developed some terrific friendships and enjoyed some scintillating dialogues. Although most of these groups need more dough, I'm not crazy about the idea of grabbing a boodle by taxing the internet. (Lee)
