Michael, you have to understand you're not talking about an average family. In your statement, "My wife and I are killed in a car accident because I made the mistake of accidentially blowing a stop sign.....does this mean my wifes family can sue my aunts, uncles, sister and brother...possibly mom and dad????." Putting the grief factor aside. If your family has as much money as the Kennedy's have the lawyers would be lined up for miles. And this wouldn't be about politics. It would be about MONEY, lots of it. It's a fact of life.
