"Completely confidential means insider trading violation" Wrong again, O'Wise One. No blood, no foul. Unless you act upon the information (ie. trade shares in the stock in question or tell others who use that information to trade the shares in question) there's no harm (no blood) therefore no advantage regarding the market (no foul).
