Probabilite, I disagree. A company has an obligation to disseminate appropriate disclosure regarding material events and changes within the company in a timely manner, and I believe that doing so as soon as possible (i.e., soon after the passing of the event, such as a meeting) is the responsible way to do it.

I concluded from your message that you would have preferred that the news be withheld/delayed because "people don't work" at that time. On the other hand, to have had it issued any earlier may not have been possible due to internal dynamics in drafting and approving of the NR itself. Many releases come out after market closing for various reasons.

When would you have liked to see the release?

Also, note that there are other time zones in North America, and because it is 16:45 in your locale, it could very well be, say, 14:45 or 13:45 elsewhere.

Be realistic. With the type of trading going on with SBX, I really don't think it makes a dramatic difference when the release comes out. You seem to imply that there would have been some advantage to seeing the release earlier or later. I don't believe it would've been significant either way. I am glad the company is being responsible by keeping shareholders informed as things happen.

Just one shareholder's opinion...
