Can I tell you what's cool about BetaSI, without anyone getting mad at me? Promise?
It's very good for going back and reading DAR from the beginning. You enter the post # you want to start with, and from that one you can scan ahead 10 posts at a time. WAY cool.
And keep a note of the one you left off at, and enter it the next time you have time to read the old stuff.
I think it must be a God-send on the stock threads, that have gazillions of posts every day. I am guessing Browsemaster would have been cooler, but maybe they couldn't work a deal.
I asked Freddie why everyone hates BetaSI and he said it was aesthetic. Maybe it would make sense to have someone with good color sense point out that the color scheme isn't attractive? I liked the yellow and blue, but I remember when I started there was purple somewhere, they did change the colors a while back.
And they put the subject search back in, or are going to, it said when I logged on to look at the Beta site.
Not that you shouldn't protest, I just have this uncontrollable urge to speak up for the underdog (in this case BetaSI), it's a failing. |
