LaShark:

Thanks for the info. It was helpful. I think it will be important to have access to a huge variety of songs and artists, from a number of key labels. I also think that you should have options. You should be able to download from the Web or go into a store at the Mall and download there. I don't mind waiting for a custom cd and I would much rather have my favorite songs on the cd. I don't mind waiting for what I want, so snail mail would not be an issue. It would eliminate the other songs that are secondary on a cd. They are the songs that we would never play on the radio (they are not hits). You could create cd of hits only, and that would be based on personal preference. That is a great concept! It will be interesting to see how the music industry cooperates. They are very proprietary. So I could cross-over labels with my "Jon Secada's Greatest Hits", Edwin McCain's "Messenger" and some of songs from the other CD's that I would normally buy in full just to get the songs that I like. I will be following this! It will be interesting to see how this changes the way that we program radio stations. I have been in on that side of the industry, so I am very interested in how this will change things.
Thanks again! LW
