<<I presume you are a principal for VIAD, an employee, or a paid spokesperson, and as such have a vested interest.>>

I wish you were right; but you are wrong on all accounts concerning me and any connection with VIAD. However, if that does change (though I don't expect it to) I will post that fact here immediately. VIAD is just one thread I have started about stocks that I find interesting. The MGMA, AHWY, MPPP, and SEX are just a few threads that I have started and do not own any of the stock nor am I employed by those companies. However, I was an employee at ETN (in a non-public/investor relations capacity) at the time that I started the ETN thread. I still own stock in ETN.

Now, back to VIAD... I do appreciate your opinion on VIAD and knowledge of this sector and hope you will continue to share your opinions.

Tell me why do you limit your analysis of sales to the last four quarters instead of the last four years? You mentioned 2nd QTR '98 3rd QTR '98, 4th QTR '98, and 1st QTR '99, but you did not compare them to 2nd QTR '97 3rd QTR '97, 4th QTR '97, and 1st QTR '98 respectively.

I have always believed that any financial analysis requires at least a comparison to prior years. A comparison to competitors and the sector during the same period reduces the chances of misinterpreting a company's performance.
