Elmer, A Klamath barely edges out a Pentium MMX also. At the same clock speed, the K6 and P2(Klamath) look to be pretty equal performance wise. pcworld.com Considering the resources at Intel's disposal and what they would like to charge for the P2, it is clearly the biggest disappointment out of the "new" lot of MPUs. Who will want to buy a system that performs equally for $500-$600 more? I can't think of a soul.
