...since you sound like kind folk, I'll share some analyses with you, but you really should think about your "rhetorical" question for awhile, though you're right; searching for "Non Y2K compliant phone" really won't yield many results.
What I anticipate are items such as the following coming onto the market which, obviously, won't be "let go" until after Y2K has passed, thus your searches now should, expectedly, be fruitless.
Ebay and other online auction houses will be the best outlet of extra, unwanted, depreciating items. Of course, this assumes one can log in after Y2K.
* Non-Y2K compliant computers, phones, switches, electronic devices
* Portable generators (Honda, Coleman, etc.)
* Kerosene heaters, lamps, cookware, wood-burning stoves
* AC/DC converters
* Firearms, pepper spray, and other home safety devices
* Storage racks
* Air and water purifiers, filters
* Storage tanks of any sort (fuel, water, sewage)
* Non-electronic games and entertainment items
* Solar equipment
* Flashlights, candles
* Unwanted dry goods, MREs (Meals Ready to Eat)
* Bulk quantities of salt and pickled goods (just kiddin')
* Medical and first-aid kits, iodine, ointments
* Camping items (subsets of the above)
Remember: Gold isn't divisible.
