"diminishing return"- how do you evaluate an investment, Scrump, where one's live is at stake, if one invests too little? E.g., if I invest $880 for storage foods for my family for 3 months, and food chain is disupted for 4 months, that difference- in a less than catestrophic senario, means the extra, say $250 would have made the difference between living long enough and perishing?

"diminishing return"?

Risk vs. Reward !!!! Where the risk may be total, but the investment minimal in real dollars, and the reward the highest of any you will ever play for, your life! Right or not?
