Listened to the CC Friday. I also liked what I heard, especially wrt data services. As BS pointed out, the plan to introduce Ka band services on an evolutionary basis will sidestep the need to develop a complicated, intricate constellation up front AND yield better risk/reward mangement. Brilliant. Then I practically drooled all over the phone when, at the end of the call, BS stated they see enough demand at this time for three GEO delivery broadband satellites. He then went on to emphasize that revenue leverage of two way over one way is 3 or 4:1 with the cost of Ka band only marginally higher. Hey, are my notes right here where I have scribbled that this should add $1B in revenue in 2001? As a long term shareholder I'm very very happy to see such potential for a significant increase in earnings and from a different business than Globalstar. I've been concerned that Loral has become a one story stock and been frustrated that the company can't seem to fire on more of its cylinders. Nancy
